Utah Vaca!

I went to Utah for a week and stayed with my friends, Tim & Priscilla Hewlett. They have 2 beautiful kids that I just love to pieces. Christian is 2 years old and Baby Stella is 2 1/2 months old. Tim had tickets for the BYU vs. Oklahoma game, so he drove to Texas with some family to attend the game while Priscilla and I hung out at the house and played with the kids all weekend. It was a lot of fun and I love children. I can't wait to have my own someday.

Christian is a HOOT! Oh my gosh I just love him to death. He is soooo funny and I had so much fun playing with him. I love that age. He knows the alphabet, his numbers, colors, shapes, he's just so stinking cute. And every time he would say anything, you HAD to repeat it after him or he would keep saying it.
I look horrible in this picture, but I had to post it because I was helping him get dressed that morning and he missed his arm through the sleeve! He thought it was funny!
Christian wanted to brush his teeth like his Auntie Lindsay, too cute!!!

I have so many funny stories I want to mention...We were at the grocery store and he kept saying, "Two, two, two, two..." and I was trying to figure out what he was looking at and realized it was Aisle 2. So I said, "TWO!" and he laughed. Everyday I got ready, he would stand outside the bathroom door and call my name. Priscilla said the last day I was there, he laid on the floor and put his mouth under the door to talk to me. After I showered, I would get ready in the bathroom and he would sit on the toilet and watch me. I had my curling iron plugged in and I told him it was "hot" and not to touch it. Whether the curling iron was plugged in or not, he would point to it every time he saw it and would say "HOT!". So cute. He would take everything out of my purse and always seemed to find my chap stick and candy I had hiding in there. He loves to put chap stick on and wants to do it by himself. Christian loves to wear sunglasses when we're in the car and he thinks he looks so cool in them, he wouldn't talk to you if he was wearing them. He would call me "Izzy" or "Indsay". One day after he woke up from his nap, Priscilla went and got him out of his crib and he yelled my name from the top of the stairs. I guess he wanted to play!
BIG C and his cool sunglasses
Christian LOVED my iPhone. He played a lot of Arcade Bowling. He knows how to unlock the phone and everything. He is so smart!
I was putting my make up on and Christian got a hold of my eye lash curler. He knew EXACTLY what to do especially after watching me do it.
I put him down for his afternoon nap and for bed almost everyday I was there and he let me! Most kids that age want their Mom and he totally let me do that with him. I would rock him and read him a couple of books and then lay him down and he would nap for about 3 hours each day. Christian is so well behaved for his age and he was a blast to play with.
Stella is a gorgeous baby. I kissed her cheeks constantly, I just couldn't get enough of her. I love love love the smell of a newborn and they are just so tiny and precious. The poor baby cried quite a bit, but she has acid reflex so it was sad that we couldn't help her much besides give her medicine. That baby loves to be held and I loved holding her!
BATH TIME!
So precious :)

Wednesday, Shannon, Priscilla's sister-in-law, and Shannon's Mom, Cathy, came over and we made baby head bows. Shannon had Baby Allie 2 weeks before Stella was born. I met Allie for the first time that day and I held her and got her to sleep. I'M A PRO! J/K. I got her when she was tired. Luck of the draw. Allie is a great baby! Doesn't the head bow her mama made look so cute?!

Priscilla took a ton of photos of the two little ones. They are so cute! Allie's head bow fell in her face and Stella happened to laugh at the exact time it happened. It was hilarious!

So tired...
Poor Allie, but Stella seemed to think it was funny!

I love Priscilla, she is a great friend and we always have great talks. We watched a ton of movies, and just ate and hung out. It was fun girl time. Thanks for everything Pri! I can't wait to visit you again!!!

I also got to meet up with some of my very good friends from BYUH, Natalie and Andrea! Natalie lives just down the road from Priscilla and Andrea lives in South Jordan which is about a 20 minute drive from where Priscilla lives so it worked out perfect! I love these girls and they were some of my best friends in Hawaii. We had such a good time catching up and laughed our heads off. Andrea's Dad is in to this "new water" that just came out. He tried to sell Natalie and I on it and I felt like I was an example in an infomercial, and at the end of his "speech" he turned to us and said, "Do you want to look like an old man or a baby??" WE DIED LAUGHING! Supposedly this water is really good for your skin. Whatever. Any different than the bottled water you buy at the store??? I THINK NOT! He sure tried though, I'm not easily convinced. And his wife would yell every now and then "COME TO BED! LEAVE THOSE GIRLS ALONE!!!" HAHA! Andrea and her Mom were embarrassed he was giving us his speech. It was too funny. We laughed and just had a great time.
Natalie and I eating lunch the last day I was there.

I had a great time and was glad to get out of the AZ heat! Now I'm back to life working and trying to organize my house. Pictures soon!
